BARUG NewsMarch 2006 I hope those of you who attended the South West Show last month enjoyed yourselves. Unfortunately, I myself was unwell and unable to attend. The reports on Drobe and elsewhere were more positive than in previous years. Perhaps someone who attended can brief the rest of us at the March meeting. March's meeting will be held at the usual place and time on Wednesday 29th March. It has not been possible to arrange a guest speaker this month. Instead, given that we are due to have the AGM in May and at least one member of the Committee will be changing, I propose that we have a discussion on the purpose BARUG now serves and what the members want BARUG to be in the future. This will help guide the new Chairman and the Committee. I apologise for this newsletter being both brief and late. My three-day business trip this past week was extended whilst I was away to the whole week. This is likely to happen again and is one of the reasons I have decided to stand down as Chairman at the AGM. With best wishes to you all! Steve |
